Job Description:

Education requirements: 
High school diploma (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians in the care and treatment of emergency cases
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and blood work
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and alert the DVMs and technicians if there are abnormal findings
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the emergency clinic
  • Restock and organize medical supplies and equipment
  • Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners during stressful situations

Experience:
1 year experience in an animal hospital (preferred)

Overnight and weekend shifts
